When Amira hears types of audio interference that get in the way of Amira's ability to listen accurately, the program will flag questionable words as yellow. The primary reasons for yellow flagging are:

  1. Very soft-spoken readers

  2. A lot of background noise

  3. A second speaker

  4. Audio interference (e.g. mic issue)

The scores reflect the passage read minus that section of yellow phrasing as well as the time read for that yellow phrase.

Teachers may listen to and rescore phrases flagged as yellow and click Save. All reports will refresh with the most up to date scored data.
