If you see an error message, it is likely that Amira is unable to hear the student through the device or browser's microphone. The solution to this is to aways enable the mic.

To give Amira access to your microphone, follow the instructions below for the browser you're using:

Troubleshooting

If you have tried to enable the mic, and are still having trouble accessing Amira, try these steps:

  1. Go to https://mic-test.com/ and test your microphone to ensure it is working properly.

  2. If your mic is working properly, then it is possible that your school or district has not given Amira permission to access particular websites. Contact your IT administrator to make sure that the domains in this Tech Requirements list have been allowed.
